Rosenbaum & Segall, P.C. Case Study

My work: Article strategy, editorial development, and syndication.
About Rosenbaum & Segall, P.C.
Rosenbaum & Segall, P.C. is a New York-based law firm focused exclusively on representing Amazon sellers. Founded by CJ Rosenbaum, Esq., the firm helps sellers navigate some of the most disruptive problems they face on the platform, including account suspensions, listing removals, intellectual property complaints, and policy violations. With thousands of sellers helped and a long track record of successful reinstatements, the firm has become a well-known resource in the Amazon seller community.
The Challenge
Rosenbaum & Segall, P.C. had an article they wanted to syndicate across news outlets. The topic was a great fit for their audience and expertise (the compliance risks and challenges facing Amazon sellers) but it needed some adjustments to match the editorial style needed for syndication.
The challenge was reworking the piece in a way that preserved CJ’s voice and expertise while making it something that would appeal to newsroom editors.
The Work
I worked closely with CJ to reframe the article’s angle and rebuild its structure. The goal was to take the core idea and shape it into an editorial piece that could stand on its own in a news context.
That meant rethinking how the story was told, what evidence supported it, and how it was organized. The final article was heavily data-backed, drawing on statistics and research to ground the claims and give the piece the credibility that news publications require.
The Results
The article was syndicated through Stacker and picked up by 273 news websites, including Yahoo Finance, AOL, Miami Herald, the Charlotte Observer, the Sacramento Bee, the Kansas City Star, and many others. In total, it was viewed more than 57,000 times.
The end result was an article distributed across hundreds of outlets, with the backlinks and third-party credibility that come with it.
